Another post from my phone

Morning hugs all. Am sitting in the kitchen as I currently don’t have an office. My desk is getting dismantled today and I am tired.

Yesterday, I went to another state to see my Dr and my family. I learned a few things as well.

Firstly, my Dr has a wicked sense of humor, but no pity for the positive changes in my life. I am a curmudgeon by nature. Being gen x doesn’t make me special, and my general grumpy gumption earned me no pity. Damn.

She laughed. Sighs. Oh well. My old lady symptoms are just old lady symptoms by the way.

Next, I can get reprimanded for being too independent. Snort. I actually am amused. I stopped at the smoke shop to replace our tobacco supplies. I was told in no uncertain terms that I could use the drive-thru. Hey, it was raining and my drivers side window doesn’t roll up easily once down.

Lastly, after my visit to family, Dominos pizza has too much sugar in the crust. It is disgusting.

The drive home took 2 hours due to rush hour traffic. I avoided the interstate, as during rush hour, that city is especially dangerous to be on. Add in the rain, I didn’t want to get in an accident.

So there’s that. I’m glad I went, glad to be home, and have a desk to dismantle this morning. Tomorrow is the last push to swap my office. I am looking forward to it.

Now for the big question, how do I convince myself to drive to the clinic for some fasting blood work this morning… Take care, I am out of pre-written blog posts until I get an office of some sort.

I will bug you again tomorrow. -L
