Hello and good morning all. Hope you are well. I’ve spent the last I’m not sure digging through the office.
I have come to the conclusion that I have way too many freaking UFO’s. For those not in the knitting/crochet/sewing/quilting gig, that means Unfinished Objects.
Currently, under my desk are about 80% of the unfinished knitting and crochet projects. Behind me, is a giant tote with a crap ton of unfinished sewing things. I don’t know what the hell happened that I ended up with this many… but it is what it is.
This all started, the digging by my needing a place for about 20 books. So, I decided that the yarn and the fabric was going in my cedar trunk. I dug all of the crap out of there, threw most of it out, and then moved the trunk.
Then came time to fill the trunk. Even though this is a big steamer type device, it filled up too damned quick. As I would empty a shelf, I’d fill it with books. Then came rooting through boxes and getting rid o the crap.
So, I started this Sunday afternoon. It’s 12:30 in the morning. I’m exhausted, and am ready to take some midol. Tomorrow’s going to hurt. The good news, 5 33 gallon trash bags are ready to go in the bin. Tonight that bin goes to the curb. Next week, after some physical recovery, I will do the process again with more crap.
I am determined to not be a hoarder anymore.
