What doesn’t kill you mutates and tries again.

Morning all, hope you are well. The boys are being boys again. I’m settled in and was disturbed enough this morning that I didn’t put creamer in my coffee. The world will survive.

I was on social media this morning, and saw some embroidery with the title of this post. I WANT THAT! To quote the famous Bobby Duke arts. However, I don’t want an instant download pattern. I want a kit. I’m lazy.

So, in the tradition of Bobby Duke, I will make my own. I’m already adjusting embroidery patterns to fit my brain. IE I use print kits, and the other day, I hated the way something was done. I grabbed a washable marker, and corrected the problem.

So, I guess I’m doing what I do, evolve something to work. I have the fabric, I have the extra floss….. I’m going to make my own pattern with a marker on the fabric and stitch the bugger up.

The reason is that every time a new super bug of some form comes along, I catch the heifer. I get sick. I pass it on to the hubsy. He gets sick. Then I get sick again. It’s a vicious cycle. I’m sure families with children when stomach bugs come around do not appreciate this phenomena.

Since we are basically stuck at home anyways, I might as well have an embroidery kit that matches my psychosis. Snort.

On that note, take care my friends. Hugs and huggage. -L

P.S. I may have taken a short break to sketch out the design on the cloth, mock up the colors and put that specific cloth on the “Next” pile.
