Morning all, have been working on it. My husband is resting, and Duke is sleeping. I probably caught covid by going to a meeting.
Sighs. Damned if I do, and damned if I don’t. The irony is, I needed a meeting bad enough to hit two that night. By Wednesday, we both had it.
I’ve been knitting. It’s keeping my hands busy. I’ve also been listening to an audiobook, and watching videos on knitting techniques. My shoulder isn’t good enough yet to manage sewing at a machine.
So, we sit, we cough. We blow our noses copiously, and when the sun goes down, I sit in the back yard with Duke. The reason for the late hour is that I am awake, but also that no neighbors are out in their yards.
This way I don’t infect anyone. I’ve also done something I swore I would never do. I signed up for doordash. This way, at least, I can order some things, and have them delivered.
That said, I’m hoping to start making tea outside again. I have to get a tote set up that I can leave out back. We will see. I miss tea time in the yard.
