Morning all, I’ve come up with an odd solution for an idiot problem. I’m the idiot, in this case.
My beloved is having back surgery in early September. I’m going to be in the area for many multiple hours, and my beloved believes that this is a same day surgery.
I’m not entirely certain of this. However, because he is my beloved, we will be in another state, for multiple hours at the minimum. I am used to sitting in the parking ramp without bathroom access, waiting during these events. However, this time, I’m not going to be doing that.
I’m going camping, and bringing Duke. If this is a same day surgery, fine, Duke and I will be at a park, relaxing. I can practice my skills, and use my equipment to enjoy the day. Duke will have treats, as well as food, and will be able to be outside.
I will be anywhere but stuck in that damn parking ramp. If it is an overnight stay or longer, Young Master Duke and I will be at a campground, relaxed, and comfortable. We can watch the river, and just be ourselves.
My husband freaked when I suggested a hotel room for the night before we leave. He is insisting that this is same day only surgery. I’m just not sure about this. I’d rather be ready and able to camp than stuck without resources in a parking ramp.
So, there you have it. Now, how to sneak the gear into the vehicle so that he doesn’t realize that that is what is going on. Snort.
