Morning, haven’t talked about my sewing lately, but then again, the sewing machines have been gathering dust for a little bit. I’m working on getting things organized, but then again.
However, over the weekend, I had some ordering to do for the household. It’s time for furnace filters again, and I decided to also look at some sewing patterns. I want some summer dresses, and the patterns, I think will cross over into winter as well.
One is a wrap dress, and I’m so excited to try it out. I’m thinking of sewing it in a lovely lavender cotton fabric I have. The other is a strappy dress. This one I’m thinking of doing in teal. I just can’t wait. Of course, there will be pictures of the sewing, but I’m so dratted sick and tired of clothes that I spend good money on just not fitting anymore. Of course, a couple of bolts of fabric leaped into my cart, but we won’t mention those, will we?
So, when they arrive, it’s going to be time to sew again. This also means that I’m going to have to set aside some other projects, but you know what? It’s going to be okay.
