Good afternoon all!
I’ve been busy, taking an inventory of the mess my house is in. It’s part of the inventory process I used to talk about much more often here at the anonymousknitter blog.
I come from a line of hoarders, and in the moves that I’ve done so far this year, I realize that I have too much crap. I also realize that I am a slob, I’d rather play farmville2 than clean my house or take care of those things that need doing each day.
So, i decided to take pictures, lots of them, with my favorite camera, and take a hard look at the unmanageability in my life. The results are disturbing, and not pretty. I have so much work to do, that I could fall into the apoplexy of being overwhelmed and say to myself, “To heck with it.” and do nothing.
I can’t do that. I really can’t. Not and let you my readers and listeners come to the conclusion that I am some hyper Mom who gets everything done on time. Remember, I’m the one talking all the time about being organized…
I include pictures, to give you an honest appraisal of what I haven’t been doing. I figure it is time for some rigourous honesty, and it is time to do something about it… So the following pictures are included as a “before” image, to give me an impetus to get my butt moving.
As a blogger and a podcaster, I realize that this is going out to all my listeners and my readers. Even so, I think it is time to get to work. I’ve decided that I’m going to get my housework done, slowly over the next few days. I’ve also decided to keep it neat, and give you updates as I go.
