My phone bill with Verizon jumped to over 170 per month… Ugh, that was just way too much. I went over the moon with frustration. I did talk to my husband about it, and I decided to switch out the droid phone for an older phone we used to have service on.
Smart phones demand, according to the company, an automatic 30-50 dollar internet service in addition to the dial tone itself. Add in strange things like text, and using the phone as a modem… Well, the phone is now almost 200 per month. Ugh.
It was time, I’m still jonesing. But the good news is that most of the extra features on my smart phone, work with my wireless router at the house. Heh heh heh, I can still update my angry birds.
Over a years time, we will save almost a thousand dollars.
It’s a good thing.
